Dined at Daniel’s Table last night for the first time.  Our server, Bruce was informative and delightful.  The food could not have looked, or tasted, better. Keep up the very high standards we enjoyed.

Local chefs shine at recent Food and Wine Festival

Daniel Villanueva Jr., owner and chef at Balisage Bistro, recently started to source all of his produce from local farmers and farmer's markets. On his demonstration stage, he cooked but also used the platform to talk at length about the value of eating local, fresh food and drinking organic wine. It was a laid back but engaging presentation and Villanueva would occasionally bring the big salad bowl he was mixing out into the audience for people to sample.

Balisage Bistro Joins Restaurant Week With Mediterranean Menu

Article about previous restaurant, Balisage Bistro. Pan roasted sea bass with braised fennel in an herb, garlic and white wine sauce; seafood paella with sautéed shrimp, white fish, mussels and squid with preserved lemon and saffron rice; and chicken with Spanish chorizo in Romesco sauce are items already popular on the regular menu.
